Nancy Yahanda, Ed.D.
As a CEO and executive coach for 25 years, Nancy Yahanda has coached 1500 leaders on three continents. She works in Global 2000 and Fortune 500 organizations to achieve strategic objectives through focused and aligned leadership around the world. She has worked in global organizations in a variety of industries, including market leading consumer products companies (in the US and the UK , prominent banks (in the US and Europe), the Singapore government, global investment companies (in the US and Singapore), and insurance companies (in the US and Japan).

Some representative coaching and consulting engagements include: 

  • For a large global consumer products organization, in which Nancy is in her third year of engagement, she is the coach for the CEO, and also works individually and collectively with the executive team. Leadership training/learning was identified early as their highest leverage action to be proactive about the global economic situation. Globally, the top three levels of the organization participated in the program, designed and delivered internally with Nancy as a thought partner. Following the program, she continues to work with the CEO and the team as a coach, to help them practice and embody the principles and practices through coaching, observation, and management practices.
  • For a US based investment firm, Nancy was retained to work with the Singapore office’s newly appointed leader, a Chinese Singaporean with a culturally diverse and geographically dispersed investment team. Nancy’s role was one of executive succession and integration coaching for the new leader and team learning for the new investment team.
  • In a large insurance company, Nancy was retained to work with the Tokyo office to assess and make recommendations for succession for the Asia-Pacific regional CEO role. She created a CEO profile to fit the region’s needs, assessed potential internal candidates for succession, and once appointed, worked with the new CEO to ensure a successful transition.

In addition to her global coaching, Nancy is also a consultant member of the Society for Organizational Learning and is a founding board member of the Executive Coaching Forum.

Nancy holds a doctorate from Harvard University in Organizational Behavior, and is professionally trained and certified in many instruments, including Benchmarks, Lominger Voices, Executive Dimensions, California Personality Inventory, FIRO-B, Workplace Big Five, and the Hogan Assessment suite.
